With the CCPE recycling cascade for waste containing plastics, consisting of a combination of three Fraunhofer technologies, high-quality plastic recyclates can be generated with an optimized product yield.


The waste materials are, for example, mixed packaging waste, shredder residues or composite materials that can no longer be recycled by conventional, mechanical processes. These feedstocks are pre-sorted and treated via a combination of three innovative recycling technologies: solvent based recycling, solvolysis and the iCycle® process.
